[RELEASE] 3.51 M33-3 Cumalative Update to 3.51 M33-4/M33-5/M33-6/M33-7
psp drive and it will automatically place the files in the correct folders
All these updates are full updates so you can directly apply the latest one, no need to apply the previous ones first
Note: According to steve_slugga he had to apply m33-4 update before doing the rest, so for some people you might have to apply the individual updates each at a time
*You do not need to have already applied the previous updates as this is a cumulative update and includes all the previous updates in it already, however if you have already installed the previous updates it is no problem at all as well
3). Inside the extracted files look for a folder called "m33-5" and inside it should be an eboot
4). Place this folder in PSP\GAME150\
5). Go to game > memory stick > and launch m33 update
6). After successful update your firmware version should read "3.51 M33-5"

CFW 3.51 M33-6 changelog:
* This update introduces a new no-UMD more: the famous Sony np9660
* The compatibility of this mode is not yet known, let's hope Sony codes well
* Remember to choose "Sony NP9660" in recovery to use this new mode
Additional Notes from Team M33 (taken word-for-word from Team M33's release page):
* We've known that on some English-talk forums, there is someone called "McDanny" telling that he is part of M33 Team. This note is to say that he is NOT from M33, and just a faker wanting some attention. Please don't believe him, as you won't see any mail, notice or anything outside our webpage (m-33.narod.ru) or pspx forum posts.
* To the attention of becus25 and Test30: Please do not do any of your releases based from our firmwares. You steal and change name but contribute a tiny 20-line plugin. You are a shame for PSP development!
* For not Russian users - especially website admins: For every sites, if you appreciate our releases and the visitors that they bring to you, we would appreciate if you could put our Paypal link in evidence as we need to purchase hardware materials. Thank you.
Pre-requisites
* You need to have psp firmware version 3.51 M33 , if you do not then follow this excellent guide by Moose_Island
* This is a full update as are all M33 updates, so you do not need to have the previous updates installed
3). Place the folder called "M33-SIX" in your PSP\GAME150 folder
4). Go to game > memory stick > and launch "M33 update"
5). After successful update your firmware version should read "3.51 M33-6"
How to enable 100 % No-umd mode of Sony

3.51 M33-7 Update
Taken from readme
Code:
The M33 team has rolled out another update for their Custom Firmware (CFW) 3.51 M33 which adds quite a few functionalities that users have been asking for. In addition to this, they've also fixed a couple of bugs which prevented users from running some games.
Among the improvements include a few updates on the M33 NO-UMD driver, such as a bug fix which now allows games such as ATV Offroad Fury Pro, Steel Horizons, Tony Hawk's Project 8 to run on the firmware, and an improvement on the speed loading time. Another addition to the firmware is its ability to now autodetect ta-082+ with brightness problems and correct it. Now, you should know that these display issues were found with the 1.50 kernel. Here are a few more of the changes in the CFW:
* Wlan fix is now done differently, patch is done in 3.51 kernel before going to 1.50 one.
* For those that don't read well the readmes: we never would include in our files a sony prx!
* The fix was and is done simply with code. The 3.40 mention was to notice that the problem
* was not a M33 bug, but a problem caused by Sony.
* 4th level of brighrness enabled on 1.5 kernel too now.
* An option has been added to recovery, "Hard Reset on 1.50 homebrew". Use this, only if the wifi
* fix doesn't work with your psp still. It makes homebrew boot a bit slower.
As an added note, if you have the time and a little spare cash, the M33 team is accepting donations and have a link for that on their own site.
Pre-requisites
* You need to have psp firmware version 3.51 M33 , if you do not then follow this excellent guide by Moose_Island
* This is a full update as are all M33 updates, so you do not need to have the previous updates installed
3). Place the folder called "M33_7" in your PSP\GAME150 folder
4). Go to game > memory stick > and launch "M33 update"
5). After successful update your firmware version should read "3.51 M33-7"
How to enable 100 % No-umd mode of Sony
1). Go into recovery menu > configuration > mode umd > keep pressing X until it reads "Sony NP9600"

well i guess a few people had em and others didnt....could depend on a lot of factors, such as which fw did you update from, fresh install or not, did you get a blue screen just after installing or not...all that matters is that its fixed now lol.
how come this update aint on the front page yet...i mean the team announced just after they released the previous patch that there were problems in it and another patch was in progress and would be released today

well only if you do something ridiculously stupid during the update, otherwise its perfectly safe, and besides you've already got recovery mode so yea if in case you screw it up you can recover

np, by the way man you can include my post, modify it or whatever to your original 3.51 M33 installation and help thread, this way it will be easier to keep track of all the updates going on and easier for people to find all the info they need in one thread

redonload your 1.50 eboot.pbp from dl.qj.net
that should fix it and if it also happens with the 3.51 do the same
if it still doesnt work, maybe your psp doesnt like being flashed and is preventing you from dong it

You have to use Devhook to use the Cheat Device. It won't work otherwise.

Here try this
after downloading and extracting the eboots do this
click on start > go to control panel > switch to classic view if not already done so > folder options > view tab > uncheck " hide extensions for known file types"
now go to the place where you extracted the eboots, they will be named "something.PBP" change those names to "150.PBP" and "351.PBP"
ALTERNATIVELY
put your mouse over the extracted eboot and in the dialog box that pops up if it says PBP file then just rename them to "150" and "351"
